Pharma ad copy generator on our website
The pharma ad copy generator is a free tool on ppcadeditor.com, at /tools/pharma-ad-compliance/. It writes a first draft of Google responsive search ad copy for a prescription drug: 15 headlines, 4 descriptions and 4 sitelinks, within Google's 30 and 90 character limits. It is a starting point. Your Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) team still has to review and approve every line before it runs.
How do I use the pharma ad generator?
- Open ppcadeditor.com/tools/pharma-ad-compliance/.
- Fill in Brand Name (include ® or ™ if it applies), Generic Name, Full Indication (paste the approved indication text from the prescribing information) and Target URL.
- Pick an Audience: Healthcare Provider, Direct to Consumer, Payor / Payer, or Other.
- Pick an Ad Type. Reminder Ad uses the brand and generic name only, with no indication or efficacy claims. Product Claim Ad is a full ad with the indication, efficacy and the required fair balance.
- Answer Boxed Warning (Black Box)? with Yes or No.
- Click Generate RSA Assets.
What do I get back?
Generated RSA Assets lists the headlines, descriptions and sitelinks, with a sample Google search ad you can show or hide. Copy one line with the copy button next to it, or click Copy All. Save a headline or description you like and it stays when you generate again, while the rest are rewritten. Validation Warnings flag lines that may break a rule or a limit, and Compliance Notes explain the choices the tool made.
Why can't I make a Reminder Ad?
If you answer Yes to Boxed Warning (Black Box)? and pick Reminder Ad, the tool stops and says Reminder Ads are not allowed for drugs with a Boxed Warning. Switch to Product Claim Ad and generate again.
How many times can I use it, and why does it ask for my email?
The first generation needs nothing. After that the tool asks for your work email under Unlock More Generations before it continues. You get up to 10 generations a day, and the counter under the button shows how many are left today. The count is kept in your browser and starts again the next day. A missing field stops the tool with a message such as Generic name is required.
Does it come into PPC Ad Editor?
No. The pharma tool has no button that carries the copy into the editor, and nothing you generate is saved to an account. Click Copy All, then paste the lines into a responsive search ad in PPC Ad Editor, where reviewers can comment on and approve each line.
Is the copy approved or guaranteed to pass review?
No. The tool follows common rules for pharma search ads, but its output is not legal or regulatory advice and is not a clearance from Google or a regulator. Have your MLR team review every line before you publish the ad.
