First, download the chrome extension
Once you have the extension, head over to Google and do a search for whatever you’re interested in. For this example, we’ll use “ppc agencies”.
You should now see all of the ads that are being served up for that particular keyword. To scrape these ads, simply click on the AdMiner icon and select “Capture Ads.”
It will tell you how many ads were added to the spreadsheet. You can add more ads to the spreadsheet by searching for additional terms and hitting the “Capture” button again.
Once you are done, you can click on the “Download” button to save the Excel template. Click on the expanded text ad tab to see all of your saved ads.
You will notice that all of the headlines and descriptions are in their own column. It’s not perfect, but its pretty close.
There you have it! A quick and easy way to scrape Google Ads for creative inspiration or to spy on your competitors.
Once finished, you can click on “Clear” to start with a clean spreadsheet.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes!
If you want to take things a step further, AdMiner works seamlessly with PPC Ad Editor to visually view the ads in a single place.
Simply upload the excel sheet into the platform and it will automatically create a preview in which you can share the ads with other team members or even clients.
Important – Make sure you fill out the Campaign and Ad Group columns or the file will not import correctly.
