Is there anything new in Ad Recap? These are the recent changes you can see in Ad Recap, newest first.

October 2026

  • 28 Oct: When the main AI provider cannot be reached, the Written recap is written on a backup instead of failing.
  • 22 Oct: When Google Ads fails for a reason on our side, Ad Recap says Google connection is temporarily unavailable on our side instead of asking you to reconnect. See Fix common problems.
  • 20 Oct: Give feedback at the top right of Ad Recap lets every signed-in user rate it from 1 to 5 and send a note to the team. See Give feedback.
  • 19 Oct: Ad Recap has a free plan: 1 ad account and the last 7 days of history, with every feature working for that account. The account picker says how many accounts the free plan includes, Last 14 days and Last 30 days on the Dashboard are locked, and Settings and the Dashboard offer Upgrade for longer history. After a trial ends, Ad Recap stays usable on the free plan instead of becoming view-only.
  • 17 Oct: Paid plans and trials keep unlimited change history. When a plan ends, full history is kept for 30 days, then only the last 7 days. Ad Recap Settings has a How long we keep your history section, and the Dashboard shows a notice during those 30 days or on a free account.
  • 16 Oct: You connect Google Ads and Microsoft Ads from the Ad Recap Accounts screen. Sign-in starts and ends there, and the account picker opens as soon as you finish. Reconnect on an Error or Expired account signs you in again and resumes every account under that login.
  • 16 Oct: One account picker covers every platform. It has Use another login, a Reconnect button on a disconnected account, and marks any account that could not be added. A new account shows Loading while its first 28 days load, which usually takes under a minute.
  • 16 Oct: Child accounts under a Google Ads manager account show their names.
  • 14 Oct: The Meta Ads tile on the Ad Recap Accounts screen says Not enabled for this account unless Meta Ads is open to your workspace.
  • Recap emails arrive at 8:00 AM in the timezone you chose, and start with your first account.
  • Disconnected accounts are named on Accounts.

September 2026

  • The left menu does not mark Ad Recap or Budget Pacer as Beta.
  • When a Google Ads account is disconnected, a banner names that account, says when it last synced, and offers Reconnect. It shows on Accounts.
  • You can start an Ad Recap trial from Add to your suite in the left menu. The trial screen at /trial/recap lets you pick the account to recap before you start.
  • The left menu in Ad Recap now matches the rest of PPC Ad Editor. It shows your workspace name, Home, each product with its pages, and Manage workspace, which opens billing. Ad Recap's pages in the menu are Dashboard, Accounts and Settings, and an Upgrade plan link appears during a trial.
  • When a Microsoft Ads account was registered with a different sign-in, the Ad Recap Accounts screen now names the sign-in option to reconnect with.
  • Ad Recap has its own left menu instead of sitting inside Budget Pacer. Only one product's pages stay open at a time, and the AdScanner links open AdScanner in PPC Ad Editor.
  • The Ad Recap Dashboard now leads with a Written recap, flags changes that need a look, and groups changes by day. The Accounts screen adds several accounts at once, with manager accounts grouped with their child accounts. Settings shows a preview of the recap email and saves as you go.
