Send an AdMinerX capture to the editor with Send to Studio

How-to guidesLast verified:

Send to Studio turns an AdMinerX capture into a new preview inside a PPC Ad Editor project.

  1. Open the capture and click Send to Studio. You can also click Send to Studio on the capture's row under Recent searches or in AdMinerX job history.
  2. On the Send to Studio page, under Choose a project, pick a project from Select a project…. To start a new project, type a name in Or name a new project… and click Create project.
  3. Read What will be sent. It says how many ads and campaigns will go, and names the preview after AdMinerX, the search term and the date, for example crm software on 2026-09-24.
  4. Click Send to Studio. The button reads Sending… while it works. When the page says Sent., click Open the preview in PPC Ad Editor. The new preview opens in that project.

The button stays greyed out until What will be sent has finished Building the payload… and you have picked a project. A new project you create with Create project is picked for you.

What the AdMinerX preview contains

A send from AdMinerX builds one campaign per search term and one ad group per ad. Each ad keeps its headlines, descriptions, final URL and display path, plus its sitelinks, callouts and structured snippets. The related searches go along as broad-match keywords. Nothing is padded. The preview contains exactly the ads that were captured, and no copy is added. Shopping offers stay on the AdMinerX capture page and in the spreadsheet. They are not part of the preview.

Send several AdMinerX captures as one preview

In AdMinerX job history, narrow the list with the filters, then click Send all N to Studio, where N is the number of captures showing. They go as one preview, with one campaign per search term, oldest search first. The preview is named for the number of searches, for example AdMinerX with 5 searches on 2026-09-24. One send carries at most 25 captures. When more are showing, the button reads Send newest 25 to Studio.

Some captured ads have no copy

If some ads in a capture have no headlines and no final URL, a note on the page says how many carry no copy and will be left out, and only the ads with headlines or a final URL are sent. If no ad in the capture has any copy, the page says This capture has no ad copy, so there is nothing to import as a whole job, and shows Open this job instead of the project picker. Click Open this job to go back to the capture. Nothing blank is added to your project.

Back to job history opens the wrong list

On the This capture has no ad copy card, the Back to job history button opens the AdScanner list instead of AdMinerX job history. To get back to your AdMinerX captures, choose AdMinerX, then History in the left sidebar.

Your editor plan still applies to an AdMinerX send

The preview lands in your PPC Ad Editor workspace, under that workspace's plan. If some ads do not fit your plan's limit, the message on the Send to Studio page says how many were left out. Sending never publishes ads to Google Ads. It only creates a preview.

When Send to Studio is greyed out in AdMinerX

On the AdMinerX capture page, Send to Studio is greyed out when the capture has no ad copy, such as a page with no paid ads. On the Send to Studio page, the button stays greyed out until you pick a project. If the page says 0 ads across 0 campaigns, the capture has no ads at all, and Send to Studio and Create project both stay greyed out. Go back to job history and pick a capture with ads. The page also says No capture selected. Open one from job history. when it opens with no capture, and one send carries at most 25 captures. If that page says No projects found for this workspace, type a name in Or name a new project… and click Create project, or create one in PPC Ad Editor and click Refresh.

Send to Studio says No capture selected

The Send to Studio page needs a capture. Open it from the capture page or from a row in AdMinerX job history, not from a bookmark. If the page says That is N captures, and one send carries at most 25, go back to job history and send smaller sets.
