What is AdMinerX?
AdMinerX keeps the ads that show on a Google search. There are two ways in. You can save a Google results page in your own browser and upload it, and AdMinerX keeps the sponsored ads on it, plus the related searches and shopping offers from the same page. Or you can ask Albert to run the Google search for you, and the ads that show land in AdMinerX as a new job. Either way you can send the capture into the editor as one preview, with one campaign per search term and one ad group per ad.
Grab the ads from a Google search you ran: upload the saved page
- Search on Google in your own browser.
- Save the results page as an HTML file.
- On the AdMinerX page, click Upload saved page (.html) and pick the file.
AdMinerX reads the file on your device. Only the captured ads, keywords and shopping offers are saved to your AdMinerX history. The saved page names its own search, so there is nothing to type first. Uploading is the way to capture from the AdMinerX page itself, and it has no daily limit.
Ask Albert to run an AdMinerX search for you
Where Albert's Do it cards are switched on for your workspace, you can ask Albert, for example "search Google for crm software in AdMinerX". Albert shows a card first. It names the search phrase, where the search runs from, the engine, and how many ads it keeps. Nothing runs until you click Do it. The card also says the search cannot be undone, can take up to a minute, and counts toward your daily and monthly limits even if no ads come back. It shows an estimated cost in cents per ad. That is what the search costs PPC Ad Editor to run. Your Lite or Pro plan price does not change, and no per-search charge is added to your bill. When it finishes, Albert says Finished the search of … and how many ads it found, and the ads land as a new job in AdMinerX job history. If it found none, he says the search ran but did not return any ads. If you ask again while it is starting, he says That is still starting. Check your job history in a moment instead of starting it again.
- Lite: the search runs from New York, NY, in US English. It keeps up to 5 ads, and you get 3 searches in any 24 hours.
- Pro: you can name a city, a country and a language. Without a city the search runs from New York. It keeps up to 50 ads, with no daily limit, though a monthly allowance applies.
- Both plans use the default engine, and each request is one search from one place. You cannot pick the engine or run several cities at once.
These limits count for you, the person signed in, in every workspace. Uploads never count toward them.
Where AdMinerX lives in PPC Ad Editor
AdMinerX is a page inside PPC Ad Editor at studio.ppcadeditor.com/adminerx. It has no separate website and no separate sign-in. In the left sidebar, AdMinerX lists Capture, History and Settings, plus Upgrade to Pro while you are on Lite. The AdMinerX page shows your plan chip, the upload card, and your four newest captures under Recent searches, including searches Albert ran for you.
What AdMinerX keeps from each ad
For each sponsored ad, AdMinerX keeps the headlines, descriptions, final URL and display path, plus the ad's sitelinks, callouts and structured snippets. Related searches become keywords with match type Broad. Shopping offers keep their title, price, advertiser and link.
What you can do with an AdMinerX capture
- Read it on the AdMinerX capture page.
- Download it as a spreadsheet with Download .xlsx.
- Send it into the editor with Send to Studio. The preview holds exactly the ads that were captured. Nothing is padded.
AdMinerX Lite and Pro
Lite is included with your PPC Ad Editor account. Its chip on the AdMinerX page reads Lite · 5 ads per job, and the footer of the left menu reads AdMinerX Lite · 5 ads per job. Before your first capture, the AdMinerX home page says No searches yet and Upload a saved Google results page to keep the ads it showed you. AdMinerX Pro is $19.99 a month. Its chip reads Pro · no per-job cap. An uploaded page keeps every ad on Pro, and a search Albert runs keeps up to 50. Intel Pro is $29 a month and is AdScanner Pro plus AdMinerX Pro. Job history keeps your captures on both plans.
To get Pro, click Compare plans on the AdMinerX page, then Upgrade to Pro. PPC Ad Editor checkout opens on AdMinerX Pro.
What AdMinerX does not do
The AdMinerX page has no search box of its own. To have a search run for you, ask Albert. Choosing a city, country or language is part of Pro, and only through Albert. AdMinerX reads Google results pages only, not Bing. AdMinerX never publishes ads to Google Ads. Sending a capture creates a preview in the editor.
