Find active campaigns that are not in any tracker
Budget Pacer can flag active Google Ads campaigns that are in no tracker, so their spend does not slip past your pacing. This review appears only when it is turned on for your workspace.
The campaigns need review banner
When the review is on and Budget Pacer finds unmapped campaigns, a banner at the top of Budget Pacer says how many active campaigns need review and across how many accounts. Click Review campaigns to open Review unmapped campaigns.
Assign or exclude each unmapped campaign
- On Review unmapped campaigns, pick the account under Google Ads account. Each account shows how many campaigns it has to review.
- Use Search campaigns, with the box that reads Campaign name or ID, to find one. Load more shows more campaigns.
- For each campaign, choose a tracker under Tracker and click Assign.
- Or click Exclude to keep that campaign out of pacing.
If the campaign already belonged to another tracker, Budget Pacer asks you to confirm the move first, because moving reassigns its imported history too. Click Back to dashboard when you are done.
Why the review is not ready
The review only uses fresh, complete Google Ads inventory, so it can be paused:
- Campaign review is not ready, or Review is paused until a fresh, complete Google inventory is available: wait for the next refresh and check again.
- Microsoft Ads inventory is unsupported for this review. Tag Microsoft Ads campaigns on Settings, then Tags.
- No active campaigns need review: every fresh Google Ads campaign is already in a tracker or excluded.
Why does Projections say to review campaign coverage before saving?
When this review is on for your workspace and Projections is turned on too, Save in Projections checks the same fresh Google Ads inventory. If an active Google campaign is in no tracker and not excluded, saving stops with Fresh campaign inventory found active Google campaigns that are not fully mapped. Review campaign coverage before saving. Assign or exclude the campaigns on Review unmapped campaigns, then save again. If your workspace does not have this review, unmapped campaigns never block a Projections save.
If your workspace does not have this review
If the page says Campaign coverage review is not available, your workspace does not have it. You can still find untagged campaigns yourself. Open Settings in Budget Pacer, then Tags, and click the Untagged tab. The Advanced dashboard also shows a row with the number and spend of untagged campaigns.
