What's new in AdScanner? What changed this week or this month? New AdScanner features, fixes and updates, listed newest first.

October 2026

  • 28 Oct: A change to how AdScanner reads ad images. When the main AI provider cannot be reached, AdScanner reads the words from your picked ads' images on a backup instead, so a send or download still gets the ad copy.
  • 28 Oct: The Exports page in PPC Ad Editor now points to the download on each job instead of the extension popup. See AdScanner export: the Exports page for your scans.
  • 20 Oct: Give feedback at the right of the bar above AdScanner lets you rate it from 1 to 5 and send a note to the team. See Give feedback.
  • 7 Oct: The Pro pill now reads Pro · up to 50 ads per search, and AdScanner plans lists 3 searches a day on Lite and no daily limit on Pro, with a monthly usage cap.
  • Upgrade to Pro on the AdScanner plans page now opens checkout. Buying AdScanner Pro or Intel Pro turns Pro on for that workspace.
  • Job history now says History is kept, on Lite and on Pro.
  • To ask Albert a question in AdScanner, click the Albert icon on the right edge of the page.

September 2026

  • Opening AdScanner from PPC Ad Editor now keeps you signed in as the same account you use in the editor.
  • The AdScanner and AdMinerX chips in the left menu show the plan on your account, Lite or Pro. They do not stay on Lite when the account is Pro.
  • The AdScanner left menu now matches the editor's, with your workspace name, a Lite or Pro chip, and Scans, History, Exports and Settings.
  • You can download picked search ads as the PPC Ad Editor bulk-upload spreadsheet with Download N as .xlsx in the Selected ads panel.
  • On Pro, a job that reaches the 50-ad search limit now tells you to run the search again later, instead of asking you to upgrade.
  • Ad cards now show every description an ad has, not only the first.
  • While a search runs, the AdScanner home page now names each step and counts the seconds. The result line tells you whether the job reached your plan's limit.
  • The job page now groups ads as Search, Display and YouTube, by where each one lands in the editor. Each tile shows the average days live.
  • When you send or download picked ads, AdScanner now reads their words from each ad's image first, and tells you about any ad it could not read.
  • A selection with both search and display ads now sends as one preview per format, grouped together. Image ads without words can go to the editor as display ads.
  • Every ad card now has See in Google Transparency Center, which opens the ad on Google's own page.
  • You can click anywhere on an ad card to pick it, pick everything on screen with Select all N, and search captured ads by their words, display URL or advertiser.
  • The gallery now shows up to three ads per row, and the search box has a clear button.
  • Job history now has a Run by column, and Advertiser shows the domain you searched.
  • Capture now runs from Server search on the AdScanner home page. The home page no longer shows an extension tab.
  • You can create a new dashboard from the Selected ads panel without leaving AdScanner.
  • Cards now show the Ads Transparency Center's own live preview when no image came back, and step through an ad's versions.
  • The job page now shows ads as a gallery of cards, with a Selected ads panel for picking what to send to PPC Ad Editor.
  • You can narrow a scan by Format and Channel before you click Capture ads.
  • The Table view lists each ad's format, first and last shown dates, and days live.
  • AdScanner opened inside PPC Ad Editor at /adscanner. You can search an advertiser by domain or Transparency Center ID.
