AdScanner pricing: Lite, Pro and Intel Pro limits and prices
AdScanner Lite is included with your PPC Ad Editor account. AdScanner Pro is $19.99 a month. With Pro you get up to 50 ads per search instead of 5, and no daily search limit. Compare plans on the AdScanner home page opens AdScanner plans, where the two sit side by side, with Upgrade to Pro under Pro.
What Lite includes
AdScanner Lite is included with your PPC Ad Editor account. A Lite job keeps up to 5 ads. That limit is per job, not per month. Lite runs up to three server searches in any 24 hours. Sending ads to PPC Ad Editor and downloading the spreadsheet both work on Lite. Job history keeps your scans. The Lite card on AdScanner plans lists 5 ads per search, 3 searches a day, Send to Studio, unlimited and History is kept.
What Pro adds and how much it costs
AdScanner Pro is $19.99 a month. Pro removes the 5-ad cap on a job. Lite also keeps your job history and reads the words of picked ads, so the difference is how many ads a job keeps, how many searches you run, and how many picked ads are read at once: 25 on Pro, 5 on Lite. One Pro search collects up to 50 ads. Pro has no daily limit on server searches, though a monthly usage cap applies. The Pro card on AdScanner plans lists Up to 50 ads per search, No daily search limit (a monthly usage cap applies) and History is kept.
Are AdScanner limits per person or per workspace?
Per person. The three Lite searches a day and the monthly usage cap count the searches you ran with your own sign-in, in every workspace you open AdScanner from. Scans Albert runs for you count too. A teammate has their own. Your plan, Lite or Pro, comes from the PPC Ad Editor workspace you open AdScanner from.
Intel Pro
Intel Pro is $29 a month. It is AdScanner Pro plus AdMinerX Pro, so it turns on Pro in both.
Upgrade to Pro
- On the AdScanner home page, click Compare plans. AdScanner plans opens.
- Click Upgrade to Pro. PPC Ad Editor checkout opens on AdScanner Pro at $19.99 per month, with the note Lite stays free on your account at 5 ads per job.
- Finish checkout. Checkout can also offer AdScanner Pro and AdMinerX Pro together as Intel Pro, for $29 a month.
While you are on Lite, the AdScanner section of the left menu also has an Upgrade to Pro row with $19.99/mo beside it. It opens the same checkout. So does an old bookmark to /products/adscanner/upgrade.
Only workspace owners and billing members can buy. Anyone else sees Only owners and billing members can buy at checkout.
When Pro turns on
Pro turns on for the PPC Ad Editor workspace that bought it. Open AdScanner from that workspace. The pill at the top of the AdScanner home page then reads Pro · up to 50 ads per search, the chip in the left menu reads Pro, and AdScanner plans shows You are on Pro. If you just bought Pro, it can take up to 10 minutes to show. Reload the page if it still reads Lite.
Why is the Upgrade to Pro button greyed out?
On AdScanner plans, a greyed button that reads You are on Pro means AdScanner already has Pro for this workspace, so there is nothing to buy. The Pro card also shows Current plan. On Lite, the Lite card shows Current plan and the Pro card has a blue Upgrade to Pro button. If the button says You are on Pro but you expected Lite, you opened AdScanner from a workspace that has Pro or Intel Pro.
Where you see your plan
- The pill at the top of the AdScanner home page reads Lite · 5 ads per job or Pro · up to 50 ads per search.
- The chip beside AdScanner in the left menu reads Lite or Pro.
- The line at the bottom of the left menu reads AdScanner Lite · 5 ads per job or AdScanner Pro · up to 50 ads per search. Click it to open AdScanner plans.
- The strip under the search box reads Lite budget · 5 ads per job or Pro budget · up to 50 ads per search. On Lite it adds See plans.
When a job reaches its limit
On Lite, the result line says you reached your Lite plan's limit for one job and the advertiser is running more. The job page adds This job stopped at its 5-ad Lite budget. Upgrading to Pro raises it; the ads already captured are kept.
On Pro, the job page says One search collects up to 50 ads, and this source had more. Everything captured is kept. The notice goes on to tell you to run the search again later to catch newer creatives. On Pro, AdScanner does not ask you to upgrade.
In job history, a job that reached its limit shows as partial, and the ads left out show in Skipped as (quota).
Server search is paused
When the AdScanner home page says Server search is paused, your AdScanner subscription is past due. While it is past due, AdScanner shows Lite, server search is off, and AdScanner cannot read new ad words. Albert cannot start scans for you either. Your job history stays.
To turn server search back on, someone who manages billing for the workspace opens the Billing page in PPC Ad Editor, clicks Fix payment, then Update payment method. Server search comes back once the payment goes through.
