How long does AdScanner keep a pull? Do my scans get deleted after 30 days on Lite?
No, your AdScanner scans are not deleted after 30 days on Lite. Every AdScanner scan you run is a job in Job history, and it stays there on Lite and on Pro. The history page says History is kept, and the footer of the table says it again.
Does AdScanner give me the ad's words?
A server search tells AdScanner who ran each ad, its format and dates, and how long it ran. It does not return the words as text. Most cards show the ad as a picture or as a live preview you can read. When you send or download picked ads, AdScanner reads their words from each ad's image first. See in Google Transparency Center on a card opens the ad on Google's page.
How do I see which ads have lasted?
On the AdScanner job page, every group lists the longest-running ads first. Each card shows Live N d, the days between the first and last time Google showed the ad. Each tile shows the average days live for its format.
Can I see another advertiser's ads next to mine?
Yes. Pick a competitor's ads on the AdScanner job page and send them to PPC Ad Editor. They land as a new preview in the dashboard you choose, sent from your browser with your own sign-in.
Does every AdScanner ad come with an image?
No. Some ads come with a captured image, some with the Ads Transparency Center's live preview, and some with neither. A card with nothing to show says No preview came back with this creative.
Can AdScanner put ads into my Google Ads account?
No. AdScanner never changes a Google Ads account. Send to Studio creates a preview in PPC Ad Editor. Download N as .xlsx gives you a spreadsheet that you import into PPC Ad Editor yourself.
Does AdScanner scan on a schedule?
No. AdScanner does not monitor a competitor automatically. An AdScanner scan runs when you click Capture ads, or when you ask Albert to run one and click Do it on his card. To catch newer ads, run the search again. Each run is kept as its own job in job history.
Can Albert run an AdScanner scan for me?
Yes, where Albert's Do it cards are switched on for your workspace. Ask him to scan a competitor's domain or advertiser ID. His card shows what will be scanned and how many ads it keeps, and nothing runs until you click Do it. The scan lands in Job history and counts toward the same daily and monthly limits as a scan you run yourself. Albert can also list your recent scans and tell you what a job found.
Can my teammates see my AdScanner scans?
AdScanner keeps scans with the account you sign in with. A teammate who signs in with their own account has their own AdScanner job history. To share what you found, send the ads into a PPC Ad Editor dashboard your teammates can open.
Are the AdScanner limits shared by my team?
No. The three Lite searches a day and the monthly allowance are per person. They count the searches you ran with your own sign-in, in every workspace, and each teammate has their own. Your plan, Lite or Pro, comes from the PPC Ad Editor workspace you open AdScanner from.
How do I jump to another page quickly?
Press Ctrl K, or Cmd K on a Mac, or click Quick search… at the top of the left menu. Type part of a page name in the box that reads Jump to a tool or page, then pick it. It lists Home, the tools on your account and their pages, such as Scans, History and Exports under AdScanner, plus Manage workspace. It finds pages, not scans or ads. When nothing fits it says No matching destinations.
