# Delete a workspace or account

The workspace owner deletes the account with Delete account at the bottom of the Plans & billing page. Deleting it cancels the Studio subscription first. The workspace's dashboards, previews and data are removed only after that cancellation is confirmed. It cannot be undone. There is no separate control that deletes your login.

## How do I close or delete my account?

1. Open the Plans & billing page. Click Manage workspace at the bottom of the left menu. Or click your workspace name at the top of the left menu, then click Billing next to Your plans.
2. Scroll to Delete account at the bottom of the page. It says deleting the account closes this workspace, that the subscription is canceled first, and that dashboards, previews and data are removed only after that cancellation is confirmed.
3. Click Delete account.
4. The confirmation asks Delete, then the workspace name. Click Delete account to confirm, or Cancel to stop.

## What happens after I delete it?

- The workspace, its dashboards, previews and data are gone for everyone in it, including teammates and anyone you invited.
- Client links to its previews stop working.
- If you belong to another workspace, you land on that workspace's dashboards.
- If it was your only workspace, you are signed out and taken to the login page.

## I don't see Delete account

Only the owner sees Delete account. Admins, billing members and other roles do not. Ask the workspace owner to delete it. There is no trash icon in the workspace menu.

## Delete account shows an error

- This workspace still has a paid product subscription. Cancel that subscription before deleting the workspace. Budget Pacer, Ad Recap or another product is still billed on this workspace. Cancel it from its row on the same page, then try again. If you already cancelled it and still see this message, contact support.
- We couldn't confirm the subscription was canceled, so this workspace was not deleted. Try again. Nothing was removed. Try again in a moment.
- Workspace deletion is temporarily unavailable. Try again shortly. Nothing was removed. Wait a few minutes and try again.

## I only want to stop paying

To stop paying and keep your work, cancel the product instead of deleting the workspace. Studio Pro is cancelled with Manage on its row on the Billing page. Your previews stay saved after a cancellation.
