PPC Ad Editor, Budget Pacer, and Ad Recap use the same sign-in. If you opened a preview link and landed on login, you get back to that preview after you sign in. The same is true for a share link or a checkout. You are not left on a blank login screen.

## The sign-up page says Welcome back

If you have signed in to PPC Ad Editor on that browser before and open the sign-up page from a free mockup tool, it says Welcome back. Sign in to save this mockup, with Use the Google account you signed up with, or sign in with email. Click Continue with Google or Sign in with email to get back into your account with your mockup. Create a new account opens the sign-up form, if you really want a second account. The browser keeps only that you have been here, not your email.

## Sign in with Google, Microsoft or email

On the login screen, click Continue with Google, or enter your email and password under or sign in with email. Tick Keep me signed in to stay signed in on that browser. Click Forgot password? to get a reset link.

Continue with Microsoft shows on login and register only while Microsoft sign-in is turned on. If you do not see the button, sign in with Google or with your email and password.

If your browser blocks the Google window, a message says Continuing in this tab, and Google's sign-in opens in the same tab instead. Finish it there and you come back signed in.

If you land back on the login page with a red message, see Sign-in didn't finish for what each message means.

## Can I sign in with my Microsoft account?

Yes, while Microsoft sign-in is turned on. Sign in with your Microsoft account by clicking Continue with Microsoft on the login or sign-up page. It works with a personal or work Microsoft account. If the Continue with Microsoft button is not there, Microsoft sign-in is off for now. Use Continue with Google, or your email and password, instead.

A Microsoft Ads connection in Budget Pacer or Ad Recap is a separate sign-in. See Signing in to Google Ads or Microsoft Ads below.

## Password not accepted, or can't get back in? You may have signed up with Google

Can't get back in with your password? You may have signed up another way. If your email and password do not work, the login page says Incorrect email or password. If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google above. You can also email yourself a sign-in link below. Where Continue with Microsoft shows, it says If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, use that button above.

If you signed in on that browser before, the message names the way you used last time, for example You last signed in on this device with Google. Use Continue with Google above. The browser keeps only which button you used, not your email. If you are not sure which way you signed up, email yourself a sign-in link from the login page. It works whichever way you signed up.

## It says This email already has an account that uses a different sign-in method

That means the email you used with Google or Microsoft already signs in another way. Nothing is merged or linked. On the login page the message stays on screen with your email filled in, and names the ways back in, for example Sign in with Microsoft or with your email and password, whichever you used before. Not sure? Email yourself a sign-in link below. On the sign-up page it asks you to sign in instead. When the browser remembers how you signed in last time, the message names that method.

## Google sign-in on my phone sends me back to the login page

On a phone or in an in-app browser, Continue with Google only signs you in, or signs you up, when Google has verified that email address. Verified Google emails sign in as before. If Google has not verified the address, you land back on the login page and nothing is opened or created. Verify the address in your Google account, or sign in with your email and password.

On a phone, Google opens in the same tab instead of a pop-up, and you come straight back. If you clicked Create a new account on the login page, that choice is kept, so you are not asked again.

## I'm already signed in. Why don't I see the login form?

If you open Log in or Sign up free while you already have a session on that browser, PPC Ad Editor takes you straight into your workspace. The screen says Opening your workspace… for a moment, then opens your dashboard. If you were on your way to a preview, a share link, a checkout, or the ad you just built on our website, you land there instead. The sign-in form and the Google window no longer stay on screen.

On ppcadeditor.com, the header knows you are signed in on that browser. Log in reads Open Studio and opens your dashboard, and the main header button does the same instead of opening sign-up.

If Opening your workspace… stays on screen for more than a few seconds, the login form comes back after about six seconds, and the sign-in buttons stay greyed out until your session check finishes. Reload the page. If it keeps happening, sign out and sign in again.

## How do I log in as a different person?

Sign out first, then open Log in and sign in with the other login. While you are signed in, Log in sends you straight to your workspace. An invitation link still shows the form, so you can accept it.

## Sign in with SSO

If your company uses single sign-on, click Sign in with company SSO. It sits under the Continue with buttons. Enter your Work email and click Continue with SSO.

If that company is not set up, the screen says SSO isn't set up for your company and tells you to sign in with email or Google.

If your email already has an account, the screen asks you to sign in with Google or your password once, and SSO is then connected to that account. If it cannot be connected, contact support and the team links them.

Google and email sign-in stay available, and Microsoft too while it is turned on. Company SSO is its own login, so Continue with Microsoft is for a personal or work Microsoft account that is not set up for company SSO. The password field stays on the email form.

Budget Pacer's login can send you here for the same SSO sign-in.

## Continue with Google says No account for that email

Continue with Google on the login page only signs you in to an account you already have. If no account uses that Google email, it does not create one for you. Instead the login page says No account for, then the email, with two buttons.

- Create a new account makes the account with that Google email and signs you in.
- Try another method closes the message, so you can use Continue with Google with a different Google account, or sign in with your email and password.

If you meant to sign in, you may have used a different Google account or email last time. Click Try another method and pick the address you signed up with. Sign up free on the register page still creates the account in one click, and so does Continue with Google from a shared preview's sign-up.

## Moved from the old version of PPC Ad Editor? Set your password

If your account was created for you from the earlier version of PPC Ad Editor, you set a new password before your first sign-in. The page for that is titled Set your password, under a note that says Welcome to PPC Ad Editor 2.0! Your account has been created.

1. Type the email address your account uses under Email.
2. Click Set my password. The button says Sending... while it works.
3. The page says Check your email. Open the email and choose your password there. It follows the same password rules as sign-up.
4. Click Back to login and sign in with your email and the new password.

Already set it? Click Sign in under the form. If no email arrives, check your spam folder, or use Forgot password? on the login page. If your login email is a Google or Microsoft account you sign in with, you can click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft on the login page instead.

## Create an account

On the login screen, click Sign up free. Click Continue with Google, or enter your details and click Create account. If Continue with Google is greyed out, the page says Google and Microsoft sign-in need Safari or Chrome. Open the page in Safari or Chrome, or sign up with email.

## What are the password rules?

A password needs at least 8 characters, a lowercase letter, a capital letter and a number. The sign-up form lists the four rules under Password before you type: At least 8 characters, A lowercase letter, A capital letter, A number. Each one gets a tick as you type. If Confirm Password does not match, it says Passwords do not match straight away.

If you click Create account with something missing, every problem shows at once and a message says Please review the highlighted fields and try again. Choosing a new password from a reset email uses the same rules.

## The security check on sign-up will not finish

Sign-up runs a short security check in the background. If you click Create account before it is done, it says Completing security check... or Security check is still loading. We'll create your account when it finishes. Sometimes it says Check the box below to continue.

If the check times out, Studio tries again on its own twice, giving the check a little more time each try, before it shows a message. On a slow phone that can take about half a minute, and the Retry link is there the whole time. Clicking Create account while the check shows an error also starts the check again, and your account is created once it passes. Then you see one of these, with a Retry security check button:

- Security check timed out. Try again. Click Retry security check.
- Security check didn't load, try again. Turn off any content blocker for the page, then click Retry security check.

Continue with Google, and Continue with Microsoft where it shows, stay available while the check runs and do not wait for it.

## What if Microsoft sign-in fails?

If you close the Microsoft window, nothing happens and you can try again. If your browser blocked the window, you see Your browser blocked the Microsoft sign-in window. Click Continue with Microsoft again, or allow pop-ups for this site. A second click usually gets through.

If you see Microsoft sign-in didn't finish because access wasn't approved, Microsoft did not give PPC Ad Editor permission to sign you in. With a work account, your company may only let an IT admin approve new apps. Ask your IT admin to approve PPC Ad Editor, or continue with Google or your email instead. Trying again on its own will not help.

Otherwise the screen says Failed to sign in with Microsoft. Please try again. Sign in with Google or email instead if it keeps failing.

If Microsoft sign-in is turned off, the Continue with Microsoft button is not shown. If you clicked it and see Microsoft sign-in isn't available right now. Continue with email or Google., use Continue with Google, or your email and password, until it is back.

## Continue with Google sends me to You don't have a workspace yet

That screen means you signed in, but your login does not own or belong to a workspace any more, for example after your workspace was deleted. Google sign-in now stays on that screen instead of sending you back to login. Type a Workspace name and click Create workspace, or click Sign out and sign in with the address that already owns a workspace. See You don't have a workspace yet.

## Signing in to Google Ads or Microsoft Ads

Connecting an ad account is a separate sign-in, on Google's or Microsoft's own screen. If you cancel that screen, you come back to the app, not to an error page.

In Budget Pacer, Connect Microsoft Ads asks how you sign in to Microsoft Ads. A work or school Microsoft account from any company can sign in with Work or school Microsoft. For Hotmail, Outlook.com or Live, pick Personal Microsoft account. If you cancel the Microsoft screen, you land back on Accounts in Budget Pacer.
