Can a client manage assets from a client link? Yes, when the link is set to Editor. Someone with an Editor share link can open the Asset Library for your workspace without signing in, and add, edit or delete sitelinks, callouts, snippets, call extensions, images, logos and business names. This page covers how they get there, what they see and what they can change.

## Can a client open the Asset Library from a client link?

Only a link set to Editor. The page is titled Asset Library and shows an EDITOR tag beside the title. A Viewer, Commentor or Approval link cannot manage assets, and the page says You don't have permission to manage assets. Editor links are a Studio feature. See Share link permissions to change a link's permission.

The shared preview has no Asset Library button. To open it, add /assets to the end of the client link. Click Back to Preview to return to the shared preview.

If the link is wrong or has expired, the page says This share link is invalid or has expired. If it was switched off, it says This share link has been disabled. A paused link shows This client link is paused. If the preview was deleted, it says This preview isn't available. Ask the person who shared it for a new link.

## What can they do there?

The tabs down the left are Sitelinks, Callouts, Snippets, Call, Images, Logos, and Business Names, each with a count when it has assets. Pick a tab and use the search box to find an asset. On Images, Filter by ratio narrows the list by shape. Each card shows its number of associations.

- Add: the button reads Add Sitelink, Add Callout, Add Snippet, Add Call Extension, Add Image, Add Logo, or Add Business Name.
- Edit: the pencil opens Edit Asset. Images and logos have no edit, so replace them with a new upload.
- Delete: the bin removes one asset after a confirmation. Tick several and click Delete to remove them together. When an asset is used in ads, the confirmation says Delete asset used in ads? and deleting it removes it from those ads.

## Will a new asset show on the shared preview?

Not until it is checked for the ad group. An asset added on the shared Asset Library is not put on any campaign or ad group. To show it, go back to the preview, click a sitelink, callout or snippet on it, check the new one in the list, and click Apply to ad group.

An Editor link can do that from the preview itself. Clicking an extension on the shared preview opens the list for that ad group, where your client can check or uncheck them and click Apply to ad group. From that list they cannot create a new one or edit one. That is done on the Asset Library page.

## Our callouts were deleted on the client link. Is that deleted for me too?

Yes. The shared page works on the same assets as the editor's Asset library, so an asset someone adds, edits or deletes there is added, edited or deleted for you too, everywhere it is used.

The shared Asset Library lists every asset in your workspace, not only the ones on the shared preview or its dashboard. If you keep several clients in one workspace, an Editor link shows them all, and deletes from it reach every dashboard. Send an Editor link only to people you trust with your assets.
