Planning tags label each campaign with an Audience, an Indication and a Category, and choose whether it counts in Projections. They appear only on workspaces where planning is turned on. If you do not see Planning tags in Budget Pacer, your workspace does not have them, and Settings then Tags shows the usual campaign tagging instead.

## Open Planning tags

1. In the left sidebar, open Budget Pacer and click Settings. Tags opens.
2. Above the campaign list, click Planning tags. On workspaces with planning, it is the view that opens first. Click Budget assignment to go back to putting campaigns in trackers.

A tracker's own page also has a Planning tags section, titled Audience, category & indication for this tracker's campaigns, with the same columns for just that tracker.

## Tag a campaign

Each row shows the campaign's full name, its engine and account, and its tracker under Brand / Budget, or Unassigned when it is in none.

- Audience. Pick DTC, HCP or Other, or any extra audience set up for your workspace.
- Indication. Type it, or pick one of the suggestions your workspace offers. It saves when you click or tab out of the box.
- Category. Pick Brand, Nonbrand, Conquest, PMax, Display, Demand Gen, YouTube or Other, or any extra category set up for your workspace.

A change saves on its own. While it saves, the Status column says Saving….

## Keep a campaign out of Projections

The Include switch on each row decides whether the campaign counts in Projections. Hover it to see Included in projection or Excluded from projection. Switching it off does not take the campaign out of its tracker or out of pacing.

## What the Status column means

- Mapped: the campaign has both an Audience and a Category.
- Unmapped: it is missing one of them.
- Excluded: Include is switched off, so it is left out of Projections.

## Why are campaign names cut off?

They are not any more. Long campaign names wrap in full in Planning tags, and Category and Indication stay on screen beside them. Hover a name to see it in a tooltip too.
