Some companies require a Microsoft admin to approve PPC Ad Editor before anyone can connect Microsoft Ads to Budget Pacer. When that happens, the connect screen in Budget Pacer shows an error instead of your accounts.

## Your company Microsoft admin must grant access

If Budget Pacer says your company Microsoft admin must grant PPC Ad Editor access for the organization, ask your admin to approve it:

1. On the error in Budget Pacer, click Email my Microsoft admin.
2. Under Admin work email, type your admin's work email address.
3. Click Send approval email.
4. Budget Pacer says We emailed your Microsoft admin. After they accept, retry Sign in with Microsoft and close extra Microsoft tabs.
5. After your admin accepts, go back to Accounts, click Connect Microsoft Ads again, and close any extra Microsoft tabs.

## My admin says they already approved it, but I still get the error

Close every extra Microsoft tab, then click Connect Microsoft Ads again. If the error comes back, ask your admin to check in Microsoft Entra under Enterprise applications, then PPC Ad Editor, then Permissions, that admin consent shows as granted. If the Microsoft Ads login was created with Google, use Sign in with Google instead of the Microsoft options.

The admin email must be a work Microsoft address. A personal Hotmail, Outlook, Live or Gmail address is refused. If you leave the box empty, it says Admin work email is required. If you send several requests in a short time, Budget Pacer says Too many admin emails from this workspace. Try again later. If the email could not go out, it says Could not send the email. Try again. or Could not send the admin email. Try again.

## What your admin sees after approving

The approval link opens a Budget Pacer page that says PPC Ad Editor was approved. It asks the person who requested it to retry Sign in with Microsoft in Budget Pacer and close extra Microsoft tabs. If the admin cancels, the page says Admin consent did not complete. Either way, the admin can close that tab.

## The Microsoft Advertising API is missing in your organization

If Budget Pacer says your organization is missing the Microsoft Advertising API in Microsoft Entra, an admin has to add the Microsoft Advertising API Service to your organization first. Then try connecting again from the Accounts page. You can also send this to your admin with Email my Microsoft admin.

## A personal Microsoft account was used as a company account

If Budget Pacer says a personal Microsoft account cannot sign in this way, click Connect Microsoft Ads again and choose Personal Microsoft account, for Hotmail and Outlook.com sign-ins. If the Microsoft Ads login was created with Google, choose Sign in with Google instead.

## IT has to assign you to PPC Ad Editor

If Budget Pacer says Ask IT to assign you to PPC Ad Editor, your company only lets assigned people use the app. Ask your IT team to assign you, then click Connect Microsoft Ads again.

## Your company's sign-in policy blocked it

If Budget Pacer says Blocked by your company's sign-in policy, a rule in your company's Microsoft settings stopped the sign-in. Ask your IT team to allow it, then try connecting again.

## The sign-in was cancelled or blocked

If Microsoft Ads sign-in was cancelled or blocked by your organization, Budget Pacer brings you back to Accounts with that message. If your admin already approved PPC Ad Editor, close the extra Microsoft tabs and try connecting again. Click Back to accounts to return to your list.

If Budget Pacer says Microsoft did not return an authorization code. Try connecting again., the sign-in did not finish. Click Connect Microsoft Ads again.
