# Is there an AdMinerX Chrome extension?

Yes, but it works on its own, and its captures are not saved to your account. AdMinerX itself captures by upload. To keep a capture in AdMinerX and send it to the editor, use Upload saved page (.html) on the AdMinerX page.

## What the AdMinerX product page shows

PPC Ad Editor has an AdMinerX product page at studio.ppcadeditor.com/products/adminerx. It shows AdMinerX for Chrome with whether the extension is in this browser, such as Not installed, Connected, or Installed with a note that it is not connected. It has a Re-check button, and Add to Chrome, which opens the Chrome Web Store. When the extension is already installed, that button reads Open in Chrome Web Store. The left sidebar has no extension row for AdMinerX.

Under How it works, the page lists the upload, not the extension: open AdMinerX on this account, upload a saved Google results page, then review the ads and keep what you need. The page says Lite uploads extract 5 ads per job on this account.

## What the AdMinerX Chrome extension does

In the extension's popup, Capture ads reads the text ads, sitelinks and shopping offers from the Google or Bing search open in your tab. Capture keywords reads the suggestions and related searches. It reads a page only when you click. The captures are saved in your browser, and Download .xlsx in the popup saves them as a spreadsheet. You do not need an account for this. Clear saved captures empties the list.

## What the send button in the AdMinerX popup does

The popup also has Send to Studio. It works only once the extension is connected and holds captures. Clicking it opens AdMinerX job history in a new tab. Because extension captures are not saved to your account, they are not there to send. To get a search into the editor, upload the saved Google results page on the AdMinerX page, then click Send to Studio on that capture. Or download the popup's captures with Download .xlsx and import that file in PPC Ad Editor.

## The extension popup says This only works on a Google or Bing results page

Open a Google or Bing search in the tab first, then click Capture ads. Nothing to capture on this page. means the results page had no ads or suggestions to read. Chrome blocked the capture on this page. Try reloading it. means Chrome stopped the extension on that tab. Reload the page and try again.

## AdMinerX extension captures and job history

My AdMinerX captures vanished? If you made them with the Chrome extension, they were never in your account. They live only in that browser, so they are gone after Clear saved captures, or on another browser or computer. Captures you uploaded on the AdMinerX page stay in job history.

Captures made with the AdMinerX Chrome extension stay in your browser, even when the extension is connected. The popup button for that is Connect. They do not appear in AdMinerX job history, and AdMinerX cannot send them to the editor. When the extension is connected, the popup says Captures from this extension are not saved to your AdMinerX account. You can still download them here. To keep a search in your account, save the Google results page and upload it on AdMinerX. The page that links the extension says the same, and that linking does not add captures to job history. For a capture you can find later and send with Send to Studio, upload a saved results page on the AdMinerX page.
