1. Setting Up Your Account

When you register for an account on PPC Ad Editor, you’ll be asked to provide your name, email address, role that you’re signing up for (Editor or Reviewer), and a password that should contain at least 6 characters. 



Then, you’ll be presented with a menu that allows you to choose between four different options to set up your account. I’ll show you what each option is and what you can do with them! 

So, after you click on Register after filling in your information like in the image above, you will see this page: 


Out of the four options, the top two options are ideal. I’m going to explain what each option does one by one, starting from the top row. 

  1. Import from Ads Editor – this option allows you to import a .csv file from Google Ads Editor so that you can view all of your campaigns and objects instantly, as they’ll all be populated into your dashboard once you hit import.

  2. Download Sync – If you are not using Google Ads Editor but you want to use campaigns that you have in your Google Ads account, choose this option. Note that you’ll be asked to link your Google Ads account to your PCADE account in order to do this. Once you link your account, you can then choose which campaign(s) you want to see and edit in PCADE and it’ll be downloaded, then populated into your dashboard.

  3. Use Demo Data – If you’re not yet sure that you want to use any of your existing Google Ads campaigns or information, you can choose this option. Your dashboard will be populated with demo data so that you can play around with the tool and get a feel for it first. 

  4. Start from Scratch – You can also choose this option if you don’t want to use any pre-existing Google Ads campaigns, but you want to create them from within your PCADE account. You’ll have to create campaigns, ad groups, ads, etc. from scratch in order to view them in your dashboard, as with this option there won’t be any pre-populated data in your dashboard, just a blank slate.

Once you’ve set up your account, you can click on the home button at the top left (the PPC Ad Editor logo) to see your dashboard. I chose the option Use Demo Data as an example after I signed up, and my dashboard looks like this:


As you can see, my dashboard has been populated with demo campaigns. If I were to click on the Ad Groups, Ads, Keywords or extensions on the left panel, I would see pre-populated data for each category.
